How to remove a photo background for free
Start with a sharp image where the subject is visually separate from the background. Upload it to the
tool and inspect hair, hands and narrow gaps after processing. Choose transparent PNG when you want to
reuse the subject in another design. Use JPG only after adding a solid, gradient or photo background.
Make small brightness, contrast and saturation changes. Extreme enhancement can make a photo look
artificial.
Background tips for product photos
Use a simple white or neutral background for the main listing image unless the marketplace requests
something different. Keep the same framing and background across a product range, leave balanced space
around each item and preserve natural edges around straps, handles and fabric.
Editing should improve clarity without changing product color, proportions or features.
How to prepare a clean ID photo
Use even lighting, hold the camera at eye level and choose a plain background. Avoid strong shadows,
beauty filters and face reshaping. Official requirements vary, so always check the current dimensions,
background color, file format and head placement on the issuing authority’s website.
